Developer Relations Engineer at Polars

I work as a Developer Relations Engineer at Polars, where I help developers get the most out of the fastest DataFrame library for Python. I co-authored Python Polars: the Definitive Guide (O’Reilly, 2025) with Jeroen Janssens.

I got into Polars early. I was at Xomnia in Amsterdam when Ritchie Vink started building it, and I have been using and advocating for it ever since. My background is in Artificial Intelligence (Radboud University) and data engineering, with a track record of replacing slow data pipelines with fast ones.
